2026 CABINET VISION Wizard Award
Celebrating Intelligence. Rewarding Automation. Recognising Real Manufacturing Excellence.
The 2026 CABINET VISION Wizard Award recognises outstanding use of intelligence and automation within CABINET VISION customisation.
This is not a design award.
It celebrates individuals who embed thinking into systems, reducing manual effort, enforcing consistency, and delivering manufacturing-ready outcomes every day in Australian factories.
The CABINET VISION Wizard Award honours professionals who push beyond basic software use and demonstrate:
Embedded intelligence in customisation
Automated, reliable outcomes driven by design intent
Real, measurable improvements to manufacturing efficiency
This award showcases what is already working on factory floors today, not hypothetical workflows, and not one-off demonstrations.
“Wizard” recognises mastery through intelligence - not complexity - and celebrates professionals who make systems work smarter, not harder.
Entries are assessed across two core pillars.
Together, these pillars represent true CABINET VISION wizardry.
Smart use of logic, rules, and conditions within CABINET VISION customisation
Reduction of user decision points
Embedded knowledge that prevents errors and enforces consistency
Intelligence
Automatic outcomes driven by design inputs
Reduction or elimination of manual steps
Manufacturing-ready outputs suitable for production environments
Automation
What to Submit
-
A short video submission demonstrating intelligence and automation within CABINET VISION customisation.
-
Duration: 2-4 minutes
Must clearly demonstrate:
Customisation logic
Automated outcomes
Real manufacturing relevance
Solution must be:
Original
In active use or production-ready
Embedded at a system level (not reliant on operator memory)
-
Summary of outcomes achieved
Time saved, errors reduced, or efficiency gained
CABINET VISION tools or features used
-
The problem or limitation
The intelligence embedded
The automated outcome
The manufacturing impact
-
Entries will be judged on the following weighted criteria:
1. Automation
Use of CABINET VISION to automate production workflows
CNC integration, toolpath optimisation, reduced manual handling
Demonstrated efficiency gains (time, cost, waste reduction)
2. Intelligence
Use of parametric design, libraries, standards, and rules
Reduction of human error and improved consistency
3. Customisation & Innovation
Creative use of CABINET VISION beyond standard workflows
Unique problem-solving approaches
Integration with other systems (ERP, pricing, scheduling, etc.)
4. Business Impact
Measurable productivity or profitability improvements
Scalability and sustainability of the solution
Solutions are assessed relative to the size and complexity of the manufacturing environment. Quality of thinking matters more than scale.
